To start off, we implement a thorough cleaning and disinfecting protocol that goes a little something like this!
Before entering we will thoroughly sanitize ourselves with an alcohol-based sanitizer before putting on an approved mask and gloves.
Next we'll open up the windows to get some ventilation flowing. As we move through the following steps, we'll replace our gloves and re-apply sanitizer multiple times, as needed. Better safe than sorry.
Base Cleaning & Sanitization
Cleanliness is the top priority at Furnished Housing Consultants; we're diligent about cleanliness and sanitation. We'll perform our regular cleaning duties such as:
- Dishes
- Flooring
- Wiping surfaces
- Tub and toilet scrub
- Garbages
- Bedding
- Stocking
- Windows/mirrors
- Vents
- Dusting
- Fridge & appliances
- Patio
but we'll also add in some extra sanitary measures like doing laundry on a hot setting to kill germs, and steam-cleaning furniture and rugs to kill anything harmful that's remaining. Each unit is given a full-blown disinfection after each tenant
Leave No Viruses Left Behind
Once the preliminary clean is done and debris and grime are removed, we close the windows and check any filters in vents. Next we reapply sanitizer to ourselves with new gloves and proceed to set up a stocked cleaning station for the guest to use (masks, soap, gloves, sanitizer, protocol guidelines, etc).
We then go in with a high-grade disinfecting solution and sanitize all touch points thoroughly. We try to move backwards through the unit so that nothing is retouched after sanitization, and the door knob is the last thing sprayed behind us. but we'll also add in some extra sanitary measures like doing laundry on a hot setting to kill germs, and steam-cleaning furniture and rugs to kill anything harmful that's remaining. For Added Measure
When applicable, we recommend other guidelines to keep guests and hosts safe. Those may include:
- Limiting the capacity of guests
- Limiting guests from having visitors, if they do have visitors, enforcing a limit, masks, and distancing
- Providing guidelines (hand-washing, sanitization use, symptoms checker, etc)
- Our staff promises to wear masks when they interact with guests
- Company employees, cleaners and guests are prohibited from the site/work if they have symptoms
